These terms apply to purchases made through our online store and your use of our website. Please read them alongside our Shipping, Return and Refund, and Privacy policies, available on our website.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Our products

Product descriptions explain what you are buying. Please check them carefully before ordering. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, but goods must match their description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for their usual purpose.

Changes to product descriptions apply to future purchases and do not change an order already accepted.

Ordering and payment

Please check your items, delivery address and contact details before completing checkout. You must be authorised to use your chosen payment method.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The initial order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. We accept your order when we send your dispatch confirmation.

If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is unavailable, we will tell you and refund any payment taken for it.

If you notice a mistake in your order, email us promptly. We will help where possible. This does not affect your legal cancellation rights.

Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Claw Clip Cymru is not VAT-registered and does not charge VAT.

Delivery charges are shown before you complete checkout. International orders may be subject to customs charges or import taxes under the destination country’s rules.

Price changes apply to future orders. If we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you rather than charge you a different amount without your agreement.

Dispatch and delivery

Orders are dispatched within 3 working days, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays. This is separate from delivery time. Express delivery does not shorten the dispatch period.

Any separate pre-order dispatch arrangements will be explained before purchase.

UK Standard delivery costs £3.95 and UK Express delivery costs £5.95. UK Standard delivery is free on orders of £35 or more.

European Union delivery costs £14.99. Delivery to selected other international destinations costs £23.99. Available destinations and charges are shown at checkout.

We remain responsible for goods until you, or someone you nominate to receive them, takes physical possession. If you independently appoint a carrier we have not offered, different legal rules may apply.

If delivery is delayed or a parcel is missing, contact us so we can investigate. Your legal rights concerning delayed or failed delivery remain unaffected.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

For ordinary online purchases, you can cancel from the time you order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. Notify us by email or post, then send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us.

You pay return postage for change-of-mind returns. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may reduce a refund if handling beyond what is necessary to assess them has reduced their value.

For a change-of-mind cancellation, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

When you cancel the entire order, we also refund the original standard delivery charge. The additional amount paid for express delivery is not refundable.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Contact us with your order details and a description of the problem. We will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your consumer rights and cover reasonable return postage.

The change-of-mind return period does not limit your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

Website use and content

Please use our website lawfully. Do not interfere with its security, submit fraudulent information or misuse another person’s account.

Website content belongs to us or the relevant rights holders. You may browse and use it for personal shopping. Commercial reproduction requires permission from the rights holder.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used. Marketing preferences can be changed using the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Purchases are made directly with Rebecca Oldfield trading as Claw Clip Cymru, rather than Shopify. This does not exclude any rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version applying when you place an order governs that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not remove mandatory protections available in your country of residence or restrict your right to bring proceedings in a court available to you under applicable law.
